After 10 years of substance abuse, Jim gave his life to Jesus in the summer of ’81, just months before marrying Cris.  Four children and three states later, they became members of FBC in 2000.  Jim has served FBC teaching Sunday School and youth, small group leadership and special events.  In 2018, the year he became an elder, Jim experienced radical freedom from the bondage that previous abuse had caused, and God planted the passion to help others get free.  Jim now serves as part of the leadership team of re:generation.  Click here to hear his recovery story.

Jim Madsen has been a member of Faith Bible Church for over 25 years. He was born in Elmhurst, IL and his job transferred him to Phoenix in 1982.  He and Donna have been married since 1983 and they are blessed with 2 daughters and currently 5 grandkids.  Jim and Donna have served in many of the ministries at FBC. Jim is currently serving on the Elder board and the administration team.

Tim became an elder in 2015. He is married to Sheri,  and has a son, Caleb, age 26, and a daughter, Aubree, age 23. Tim has enjoyed serving together with Sheri in the youth ministry and on several mission trips.  He continues to serve on the global missions team. Spiritual gifts are in the areas of mercy and service.  Personal interests include foreign travel and the outdoors.

Ken moved from Chicago, IL to Glendale, AZ in 1998 with his wife, Linda and three daughters. They have been attending Faith Bible Church since they moved into the area.  Ken joined the elder board in 2010.  He has been involved primarily in children’s and youth ministries, and currently leads a Community Group.
