Men’s Breakfast | Monthly (3rd Saturday)

Friends, Neighbors, Countrymen: wouldn’t be nice to get together once in a while to share a meal with one another?  What better opportunity than a breakfast cookout.  No hassles with noisy restaurants and their overinflated prices and delicious food.  NOPE, not here, we are going to cook up some fixings, not charge a buck three eighty for that extra egg and we’ll see if we have any guys in the know on how to flip pancakes and bacon, or eggs and chorizo.  Just think of the possibilities! As the famous philosopher Homer once said “Hmmmmm, bacon”.   It worked once, so we do it again and again, until someone dies of food poisoning (or my wife says “enough is enough, already”). No charge, donations accepted.  All men invited, no need to belong to a class, church, or club.   When:  The third Saturday of every month at 8:30am. Where?  Plona and Coldagelli’s house. 7132 W Redfield Rd, Peoria. Want more info:  Tim Plona (C) 708-557-8871. Register using the church app or click below.

Prayer Gatherings

Our desire is for FBC to become a house of prayer – where prayer saturates every aspect of our individual and corporate lives. To move towards that goal, we will be hosting monthly prayer gatherings on the last Sunday of each month in room 101 from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Weekly Bible Studies | Weekly on Wednesdays

The book of Judges famous verse is “In those days, there was no king in Israel; everyone did whatever seemed right to him”. The books of 1-2 Samuel begin during this difficult time period for Israel. These books testify to the sovereignty of God that will prevail no matter who is in charge. The sovereignty of God charges through man’s thought-out plans bringing God’s plan instead; the sovereignty of God that is holy, just, and fair. Hold on as we see these truths lived out in the lives of Samuel, David, and even Saul. Join us as we study through the 1-2 Samuel for 30 weeks!

ALL groups study the same material and you can jump in at ANY time. Childcare available upon request.

P.O.W.W.O.W. | Second Saturdays

Produce On Wheels – With Out Waste (P.O.W.W.O.W.) disperses fresh produce to communities at churches, schools and other entities throughout Southern Arizona and the metropolitan Tucson and Phoenix service areas. 10 million pounds of fresh nutritional rescued produce annually are delivered to agency sites for distribution to supporters. Anyone can contribute $15 to shop for up to 70 lbs. of fresh produce to share with neighbors, friends, family or someone who’s in need. On the second Saturday of the month, from November through May, FBC hosts this distribution right in our parking lot, providing our community with this wonderful service.

If you are a part of FBC and would like to volunteer, that would be awesome! Click the button below to sign up to serve.
