At Faith Bible Church, Sunday services are the primary way we gather together and Community groups are the primary way we scatter throughout the city as the body of Christ. Community groups are DNA-focused communities that meet throughout the week in homes. It is where we live as brothers and sisters, eating, praying, and doing life together. It is also where we live as “missionaries” who join in to Jesus’ kingdom work in our neighborhoods, work places and city. Finally, it is where we grow in our discipleship to Jesus himself.
Roles & Rhythms
Rhythm – Many small group ministries focus only on bible studies. While the study of Scripture is a high priority here at FBC, we encourage our Community Groups to reimagine the basic rhythms of their community into the entirety of DNA. Practically speaking, this might look like dwelling in Christ through sermon based bible studies, nurturing relationships through having dinner together, or advancing the gospel by serving at a local food bank.
Roles – Each group has 3 focused “roles.” Shepherds, Missiologist’s, and Administrative people to help us stay focused on all three aspects of DNA.
