Safety and Security

The safety of your child is important to us. Nursery and Toddlers are signed in inside their rooms with their leaders.  All others check in inside the children hallway.  Parents/Guardians accompany children to their rooms.  A self-stick name tag is prepared for each child by the parent or child.

Elementary children attending 1st service begin with their parents in the main service and are excused before the sermon.  They should be checked in prior to going into service with their parents.

We use security codes for pick up and emergency calling of guardians.  The security code is written on the name tag and check in sheet by the parent/guardian.  A claim tag with the code number is given out and used for pick up.  Claim tags are optional for children in 2nd grade and higher.  The code is displayed on the screen in the sanctuary if the parent is needed.  If an older child needs assistance and does not have a security code, the name will be displayed.

Our outdoor play area is locked and only accessible from the classrooms.  All volunteers work in a minimum team of two and all adult leaders have had a background check.  We also maintain an allergy list posting in our rooms.  If you are new, be sure allergies are made known to the classroom leaders.  If your child has any special needs, please contact Pastor Joe.  We are happy to work with every child possible.
